Funded PhD projects

There are opportunities to apply for funded PhD projects in i-AMS. Please note funding for these projects is available only to applicants who meet  UK (full funding) or EU (fees only funding) residency requirements unless otherwise indicated. Specifically, applicants must either be an ordinary UK resident or an EU resident who has lived permanently in the UK for the 3 years immediately preceding the start of the studentship to be eligible for full funding. Non UK residents who are EU residents are normally only eligible for fees only funding.  International applicants are required to meet the English Language Testing System (IELTS) 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in all four elements of the test or equivalent.
